“What type of songs do you like?”
A typical question. And if you ask this question to someone(especially to malayalis) the answer will be “melodies”. In my opinion almost all songs are melodious. Otherwise telling, I listen only to those songs which seems to be melodious for my ears. And I’m a great fan of the following legends.
1. ARR
2. Dr. Balamuralikrishna
3. Jayachandran
4. Atif Aslam
5. Hariharan
I love the carnatic vocals by Dr. Balamuralikrishna. I used to hear Tyagaraja kritis sung by him. My favorite is “pancharatna kritis” and that too in his voice.. Great..!!! 🙂
Then the song from Kal Ho Na Ho.. I like the instrumental version (Heartbeats) which makes my little heart beat in the same rhythm..
And my most favorite combination is ARR-Hariharan combination. The outputs are really marvellous.. Very sorry, I could not find any suitable word for describing that, so just had to satisfy myself with this “limited range” word. My most favorite is “Nahin Saamne yeh alag baat hai..” 🙂
And I would like to reveal one secret that, if ever my lover(I don’t have one yet, but as we are humans, chances can’t be avoided) broke up with me, I would like to comfort myself by singing the first line of this song..lol.. But this fact is already applicable to my friends…
